Nov 9 th... U-17 STORM vs. Salem
L 3-1
MHD Indoor Soccer continues to expand.. Joining the
Trail Blazers this year as new teams, the U-17 Storm
played their first game of the winter season last Friday
night at Soccer Etc in Beverly.. The girls learned fast
that Indoor Soccer requires ball skills, stamina and a
constant need for speed. Salem would win most of the
50/50 balls in this contest beating our 17’s to the ball
though-out. However, Marblehead fought back and played
hard doing a nice job in front of the Salem net,
Marblehead had several scoring opportunities that missed
by inches.. Marblehead Indoor’s star U-14 goalie C.
Rodgers is playing up with the U-17 girls and received
MVP in the opener as she stopped over 25 shots on goal.
M. Butler showed some outstanding ball handling and
Marblehead’s M. Adee scored Storms loan goal. Final
Marblehead Storm 1 vs. Salem 3.
