Despite some great saves in goal by Amanda G. and Lucie P.  The second half of the game was played tough by both teams. Alexa S. and Lucie P. had some beautiful breakaways and shots on goal but with a strong Danvers goalie, no success.  Then Caroline T. used her speed and took a ball up from the center line, taking a side shot to score for Inferno’s fifth goal.  Great offensive plays by Julia D. and Sarah T. rounded out a well played game by Marblehead.  Sammy M. and Meg M. played strong in goal 2nd half but Danvers refused to let up and scored several more times giving them the win 8-5.  Despite the loss, Marblehead should be very proud of their teamwork and hustle.  They will play again Saturday, Feb. 23 .
